A Great Thanksgiving Weekend!

Well, I just had the greatest Thanksgiving weekend!! Not your typical Thanksgiving, I didn't have turkey, mashed potatoes, or pumpkin pie; but actually drove 7 hours to Pittsburg to attend the Pittsburg Penguins home opener. Go Pens Go!!!
I must say though driving through Pennsylvania is nothing to get excited about. Lots of rolling meadows, fields and hills. After the first hour, everything looks the same!!
Oh well, I did get the chance to stop at Grove City to shop at the Prime Outlet mall. For those of you who have been, WOW eh? and for those of you who haven't WOW, you gotta go! There is over 200 outlet stores from Banana Republic and Guess to Payless Shoes and Old Navy! It was like a shopping heaven.
Although the game was fun and exciting, I must say that the shopping just made my weekend. We are going back in November (on the American Thanksgiving) to get our Christmas shopping done!

Time to Relax

Despite the fact that I have to work this weekend (for half the weekend), I am feeling good about having some time to relax!!
I have to go to my mother's birthday lunch tomorrow afternoon, but then after that.... it's all open.
I would really love to finish the painting that I started two weeks ago, but I know that will likley not happen.
Here have a look.....
Can't wait to get this big guy done! It will look just spectaular on my wall.
Well, gotta run, can't be blogging on my lunch break.
Shhh!!! Don't tell anyone!
