I have always wanted one too but my BF wouldn't have it either, I don't know why they are fun hyper and just a good gut buster!

Sam sounded adorable.  That's funny you took him to school.  How many years was he and what is the life expectancy?  I have only ever seen them once at a vet's office.

Hi, My ferret's name is Zoe she's a blue point and a lot of fun.

If you've never met one before ferrets are friendly and make excellent pets, the easiest way to think of them is somewhere between cats and dogs in personality.
Blue point is a color, roughly she is mid grey. Ferrets change colors with the seasons, lighter in the winter than in the summer, and they lighten as they age, too.
She is about eight years old, they live about 6 to 8 years and my Zoe has cancer. This appears to be very commun, number one reason after accidents and eating something they shouldn't. She is the second ferret that I have lived with and my hubby's 5th. I love her dearly. I recommend ferrets as a pet. However, inform yourself before making a move. Ferret's are a lot of work (ferret proffing your house, hide your keys, makup, erasers, slippers, insoles, cuttlery, toys, balls, etc.)
