I tried tame (I bought them) grape jelly same thing :) runny but good. It is trying really hard to be spring here, and I am so impatient! the snow is just melting off one flowerbed and I was out trying to pull grass out .. cold but felt good! I always plan on having them all weeded in the fall, never works for me- by fall I`m ready to be done weeding and start something else. usually quilting, although I try lots of things. If I am decent at it I carry on but if I suck (painting) I finish 1 thing and try something else. In honesty I don`t always finish the 1 thing...

I have tried to make wild grape jelly once but it didn`t turn out right. Tasted good though!!! I have never made strawberry jam. We just eat them fresh. Sometimes I get those individual angelfood cake things and some coolwhip and then we have little strawberry shortcakes. Yummmmeeee!!!

I gotta tell you about picking wild strawberries. Last year I was picking in a field behind my house and I realized I heard some grunting. I thought to myself `that`s weird, there`s no cows in this field`. I looked about and saw a deer snorting and pawing. Was I scared!!!! I have seen videos of deer kicking the crap outta people. I just slowly started backing up and spoke soothingly til I couldn`t see it anymore. I made it home without incident. I usually think bears too - not deer.

The hardest for me for many years is to see her cope about my fathers behavier specificaly. And other stuff to. She as been exhausted for many years now (talking about decades). She has been a mother to her younger brothers, sisters, to us (2) and my father who she as said hes been the equivalent 12! The letting go part will be weird to go trhough because I will have to let go of my motherly behavior totaly towards her. But the sad thing is he has contracted a few immuno-depressive illnesses.

I like houseplants too, I think they look nice and I like ivy as it purifies the air. I have tried many plants but right now I don`t have any. My sister once gave me some kind of plant that she said I would never be able to kill. At the time she gave me 3 different plants and the one I wasn`t supposed to be able to kill was the first to die. My son also gave me cactus plants for Mothers Day one year, I thought they would be good as you they wouldn`t need much watering. I was wrong!

Since I know that she does`t real understand technical stuff decided to protect my stuff instead of buying new ones. It gets expansive in less than 5 to have to replace a Tv, a PC, Phones and so one....
