Hi Annie and thanks for the wonderful words! You are very kind, and I do appreciate your friendship here as you have been very helpful to me and uplifting! Have you got into the spirit of the season yet?? This year I am feeling good about the holiday, and refusing to let my hubbies xmas grinch man!! Not interfier with how I feel and what I need to do for me and the kids. Ever since we have been together he has NEVER done any shopping for Christmas...so I do it all......even buy gifts for me from santa. He knows that I do. When I was real sick...had to do it then aslo....which was tough. If I didn`t get the gifts, the kids would have had no presents...and forget santa. Larry gets made at me and thinks I give them too much,he feels they should have one present each. I don`t buy expensive gifts,I get lots of smaller ones to make it look like more...oh well am not perfect!
Well tiss late here...after midnight and getting tired,
so take care my friend and will chat soon!

hey, it was good to hear from you.
I keep telling my 15 years Courtney that she will always be my baby, she just shakes her head at me. It is funny she loves being the baby when it means she gets what she wants. LOL, she is a really little beauty. Not little she is taller than me but what a gorgous looking girl. I worry cause she looks so much older.
Been with my hubby for about 16 years, sometimes it seems longer., LOL
I am so looking forward to spoiling the baby and handing it back. LOL, just what i need to help me over the hump of an almost empty nest. |

Hi Annie, boy you are not having mutch luck this Christmas. Not having furnace that sucks, been there one winter too, without furnace. Dave got the genarator from work today, we had rain and then ice storm too, so our hydro has been on the blitz with all the trees that came down. I had to fill our tub and pots with water, just in case power stays out for long. Hydro goes out we have no heath and no water. Hope things get better soon. |

Hi Casey,It went well,& they didn`t even have a diet 7up so i had 1 orange cooler,2 coffee & 3 water !!! It saved me from eating everything on my plate & i was down 1 1/2 pounds when i weighed this morning.I usually like to drive most time anyway & every year we say i will have a few drinks but i rarely do.Are you all ready for Christmas? I have absolutly nothing done.We are in the middle of getting the bathroom & porch plastered & painted & getting the room ready for our oldest son who is on his way home from Alberta,he is currently stuck somewhere in Ontario because the roads are closed.at least they will get a shower,a good meal & some sleep in a hotel.Santa is bringing me laminant floor for christmas so we have to get all our painting out of the way before he can install it so i am not worried if i only have a tree this year & a few decorations,as long as our son gets home safe 7 sound 7 we are all healthy as we normally are thats all i care about !!!Next year we can go all out with the decorations lol.How is everything with you ? Hope all is well take care, Val |

I have a very deep seated fear of Bats.I was attacked by hundreds of them when i was 10 years old & that is where the nickname came from.If i see a bat i am terrified.I make myself learn about them & try to watch them fly around & not scream.it is funny to see me when i see a little ol bat,i am so afraid !!!! so it`s not a bad name it is actually kind of funny. |
