    Romantic Evening At Home

With the snow and cold of the winter season finally here, it sometimes seems daunting to head outdoors for a night out. For days when you just can’t find the allure of a winter date, we’ve got a few date night ideas that you and your man can enjoy in the comfort of your own home!

Have a cooking party for two.
Instead of just ordering in Chinese food and plopping in front of the TV with it, put on some tunes and cook dinner together from start to finish. You’ll have fun bumping into each other as you reach for ingredients (especially if your kitchen’s tiny!), and then you can light a few candles for ambiance and sit at the table to enjoy your full-course meal with good company, good conversation and a bottle of wine.

    Have a movie night.
If your man can stomach it, watch a slew of your fave rom-coms. Or, if you’re up for it, have a sports movie marathon. This will offer a few hours of quoting classics as you watch, munching on popcorn, and just cuddling with your man on the couch, preferably with a fire burning. It’s the perfect down-time activity!

    Have a sexy soirée.
This is a great opportunity to turn on the heat even though it’s cold outside! Have a clothing-optional evening that could includewatching a sexy movie together, playing a couples’ board game, taking a bubble bath while sipping champagne, giving each other massages, trying a new sex position, and more! It will be a fun way to spend your time, as well as increase intimacy between you and your man.

    Have a game night.
Bring out your inner child by making your evening all about fun, fun, fun! Have an intense game of Scrabble or Monopoly, put a puzzle together, break out the Wii and Rock Band for a guitar duel, and even have a deck of cards and cash on-hand for a game of Poker. (Or, if cash is lacking, make it a game of Strip Poker instead!)

    Have an international picnic.
Drape a blanket on the living room floor, and order small portions of Greek, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Thai, and African foods (and anything else you’ve been meaning to try!). You’ll enjoy sampling different foods from around the globe and you’ll have oodles of leftovers for days to come!
